Back to the Basics    December 13, 2007

Well I haven’t made a blog entry in a while and I figured today would be a good time.  I am at work right now pondering how I can best spend the next 8 hours until 5 rolls around.  I’m all caught up on my AutoWeek work after being out sick for most of the week.

I have a few projects that I need to work on and finish soon.  I have to finish up a shopping cart application for this guy here at work that is trying to sell his artwork from his site.  Hopefully that goes smoothly.  I’ve never made a shopping cart before for a site, but I can imagine paypal makes it easy.  The other site I need to finish working on is the new Hometown Tales website.  Which is what I might finish today.  It should only take about 2 hours of solid work to get this thing up (crosses fingers).

My last project before I am free is the VIP room.  Which is coming along nicely.  I have a ton of videos and audio files up and working on there.  Just a matter of setting up the payment stuff on my paypal account now.  There are a few more things I’d like to edit and put up but I might save them for next months load of content.

Speaking of next month… It’s gonna be 2008!  Wow.  I’m promising myself that I will have the VIP section up by then.  I am also going to promise that 2008 is gonna be a great year for Wreckless Media Radio.  I have already been looking into getting a publicist and getting some press on our show.

After I finish these projects I am gonna start focusing on mastering by video technique.  I realized the other day that I have this badass DVX100b camera that can make film quality videos, and I never use it!  That’s crazy.  I need to learn that camera inside and out and I need to apply myself to make some great videos.  I have a lot of learning to do so once I have these other projects out of the way it will clear up some time for me to work on my cinematography (not sure if thats the right word) skills.

That’s where my life stands at the moment.  I’ll be back soon.
