It seems like the only time I ever update my blog here at brianberris.com is when I am redesigning the site. Anyways, a few weeks ago I got some inspiration and I decided to revamp the site. I must say I am loving the design of it so far. I made it very web 2.0 looking. I also added a feature called BriSpy which is just my twitter account. This way you can keep tabs on me and what I am doing.

I am still trying to figure out a good way to handle photos. I may just use a flickr account and somehow integrate that into the site. For the time being I am using this nifty little flash image gallery. Unfortunately there is no easy way to keep track of photos, categories, and comments on them.

I haven’t had a personal blog in a long long time and I made a promise to myself that I would start one up again. So that is what this site’s blog will be. People keep telling me that I shouldn’t because if I say the wrong thing on it and a potential employer happens to see it, they might not hire me. I thought about that for a little and realized that if they can’t handle the fact that I am not a robot drone and that I am a human being that has a life beyond work, then I wouldn’t want to work for them anyways. But I have a feeling after taking a look at what I can do and what I can design for them, they won’t have any second thoughts about hiring me.
